Kiechel Fine Art marks 30-year milestone, including 3 in downtown Lincoln

If you walked into Kiechel Fine Art, you’d be forgiven for not remembering the building’s previous occupant. Now, Kiechel Fine Art has operated for three years out of the four-story building between 12th and 13th streets, right in the heart of downtown Lincoln. In fact, it’s become such a staple over the last three decades that it has put the town on the map nationwide. The gallery specializes in 19th and 20th century American Art, including early 20th century artists such as Thomas Hart Benton, Grant Wood and John Steuart Curry. Kiechel also deals with contemporary artists, including UNL professors Francisco Souto and Aaron Holz, and noted landscape painter Keith Jacobshagen.
